Awesome Inc U exists to grow the base of technical talent in Central Kentucky. In our current phase, we provide 1-day training courses on a variety of web, mobile, and game development topics. We recently launched our Membership Program, which is like a gym membership with personal trainers for people learning to code. Our next phase is a 3-month bootcamp that will take a group of about 20 participants from non-technical backgrounds through an intense, project-based curriculum that yields qualified junior software developers.

Our Employer Partnership program is what makes the Bootcamp phase possible. The goal of the Bootcamp is to help connect employers with a predictable source of software developers, and to find and train candidates who already have great soft skills with the technical skills necessary for programmer job roles. We work with employer partners to guide the curriculum of the Bootcamp, and to provide some sponsorship for the program. In return, our employer partners get preferred access to our graduates, who have been trained in a curriculum that meets their needs, providing a faster onboard process than graduates of university programs.
